This department is managed by Dr. Mathew Geroge MS,M.Ch. Plastic Surgery is a speciality dealing with correction of deformity, disability and disfigurement, caused by birth defects, trauma, or following surgical treatment for tumours and gangrene. The ultimate aim of this treatment is to provide the patient with best possible functional and aesthetic result and to minimize the treatment duration. Micro-vascular Surgery deals with anastomosis of blood vessels of diameter as small as 1mm or even less, for revascularisation or re-plantation operations. This technique also makes it possible to transfer unlimited volume of tissue from one part of the body (donor site) to another part of the body (recipient site) in complex reconstructive procedures. Cosmetic Surgical operations are done to improve the aesthetics or looks of a particular body part. Facilities available in this hospital include:-
