This Department deals with General Medicine
And primary care. At Modern Hospital there is a resurgence of interest in family

medicine is especially relevant.
Treatment of complications of Diabetes
Mellitus is expensive, so, preventive care is the best. It is well known that
Diabetes Mellitus affects all systems. The Diabetes centre at Modern Hospital
ensures perfect centre of diabetes and maintains sensitive surveillance to
detect incipient complications of disease.
Working in concern with the colloquies in sub
specialities at Modern Hospital, the first priority is to provide patients with
the highest level of primary care possible. We are committed to fulfill the

Emergency management of all types of poisoning and snake bites. 8 bed
Intensive Cardiac Care Unit (ICCU) and 5 bed MICU with all modern
facilities like- Centralised oxygen & suction facilities, Critical
Care Ventilator, Defibrillators, Multi Para Monitors, Bed side
Monitors, Pulse Oxy meter, Infusion Pumps, Automatic ECG etc.
Excellent co-ordination of specialist input.
Round-the-clock resident on cell, senior resident medical officer
for inpatient care.
Staffed by well trained and experienced nursing personnel.
